How to use a Bridge Net on a Fishing Pier
Переглядів 32 тис.5 років тому
I was on a South Florida Fishing Pier and noticed some people were having trouble using their Bridge Net. You should take into consideration the direction of the current and the length of your fishing pole and the size of the fish. Here is a very short video on tips to using your bridge/pier net. Feel free to add more tips as these are just a few in calm situations. Please like this video and s...
Florida Panther Encounter in the Big Cypress area of the Everglades
Переглядів 136 тис.7 років тому
This took place about 2 miles north of Alligator Alley (I-75) in the Big Cypress area of the Florida Everglades. I was fishing with my Brother when two Florida Panthers came out of the brush and wanted to cross the old bridge I was fishing on. Florida Panther sightings and other Everglades wildlife are fairly common if you pay attention. This was the longest Florida Panther encounter encounter ...
Amazing underwater photography under Florida fishing pier! Sharks and Lionfish and Barracuda oh my!

You don't have to be a XGames athlete to have fun with your GoPro video camera. Here is an underwater video I made just by lowering my underwater camera off the local Florida fishing pier to see what Sharks or other tropical fish were on the florida reefs under the Dania pier. This is great fun for the kids in the summer and use underwater photography to see what is under the surface. Their ant...

Wild Turkeys Displaying for the ladies!
Using a hand line wheel for the nets rope is a great idea
why not walk away!they wanted to use the passage to cross over.
Damn! 😮 thats so cool!
This guys put these precious cats in jeopardy. If they attack him they will be euthanized. Not a sharp tool in the shed.
You obviously have no idea of my qualifications or the terrain I was in, I did exactly what I should have done, I made no aggressive moves or sounds and kept calm. There was no egress from the other side of the bridge so staying put and keeping calm was the correct thing to do... And... there have been ZERO recorded attacks on humans by panthers in the wild.
In my travels I've seen black bears, brown bears a lynx and a wolf, but never a mountain lion / panther, though I suspect I've probably been seen by more than one.
Harassing endangered species is illegal
No harassing, just calmly fishing on an old beat up bridge with no easy means of egress. They went into the bush and I calmly gathered my gear and went home.
A+
Can you recall what bridge this was?? We would love to return here and see what we find!
Majestic creatures.. You are so lucky
The bridge isn't old, and it's a wildlife overpass. You should have stood down. Do that next time, would you? These creatures are rare and don't need anyone's interference. Thanks.
It's not a wildlife overpass, it is used by vehicles and FWC. and the bridge is over 40 years old.
Two youngens discovering life.
They hunt as a team luckily they probably ate something a day or 2 ago and it wasn't going to be you
Wow cool! We saw a bobcat in WPB last yr and I thought that was cool but this is crazy
Being from florida this is actually not uncommon. Especially after an major storms. Hurricanes will drive alot of the wild life outta the wild into cities and the fact ppl keep cutting down our trees like where r these animals supposed to go frfr
that's how I'm going to die see a big cougar and pspspspspsp!
Bro that's PUMA not a Panther 🤣
Wow, lucky to ever even get that on trail cam, much less cell phone. Once in a life score on that one.
Zoom don't work I guess it might as well been a kitten couldn't tell
Great capture on video!! There's hope!!!??
We’re did you get that net from?
They were like man you're standing on the bridge we want to cross LOL.
I’m one of the lucky ones, too. Hernando County in February 2017. Thanks for posting this!
Awesome
Eso No son Pantera son Pumas
rare footage 👍
Come across everything from bobcats, bears, coyotes but never a panther. Super cool
I would LOVE to have been there!
Umm. No I don't
I am one of those too which are very lucky to have seen a Florida Panther in the wild. It was quite a number of years ago that my two kids and their Mom was driving along the road to Flamingo in Everglades National Park. It was in the fall and there were no other cars on this road. So any way as we were driving along all at once this big " cat " slowly up over side of the road and then across the road and down the other side. There was no mistake about it , it was a Florida Panther. We were dumb founded and so lucky.
I just saw one from afar a week ago I live in NE Florida. I thought it was a dog at first until I saw it move. I was in the woods with my dog. I also found it’s dropping’s which were in the middle of the path and full of blonde hair. Like completely full of hair. At first I thought” wow someone’s dog has a serious licking problem”😂 then it hit me and I took my ass back home 😂
got to be some planted Catamounts they are not in the EAST, they are not !
Man there all over down here.
Quit hatin on the cats man! Great catch
"Pspspspspspspspspsps!"
It lasted longer because you were in their desired path, it's a really cool encounter but never block a wild animals path.
breathtaking! can't imagine how cool this was to experience in person, so dope
I like how the first panther looks at the other one like “idk I usually go this way but I’ve never seen these things here before”
Good video, but approaching two Panthers on foot is a very stupid thing to do. Lots of people are attacked by animals that "Never Attack Humans." Don't believe everything you've been told. Give these beautiful creatures a little respect and a lot of distance.
He showed no respect for these cats and his actions put them at risk. Selfish!
I have lived in Florida for one year and this morning I saw a panther just outside of Ponce de Leon Park in Punta Gorda.
I wish ppl would leave the animals alone ..that's too close for comfort . Surprised the panther didn't pounce
Love hiking but you should always carry a gun if not at least have some damn bear spray jesussss lol good video btw 👍
Florida’s black panthers are already in Tennessee
🎣🎣🐟🐟🐠🐠👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Looks like they are waiting for you to get off the bridge. Instead you moved closer. Brillant.
Cool, it was nice meeting you guys today!
I encountered 2 baby panthers and two adult panthers in my street. I was going for a run with my sis and saw them. They waited for us to go away. They finally ran off into the woods and we ran home
You shouldn't even tell people where you've seen them
Looks like the L-28 Interceptor. If your a panther/nature fan, you might enjoy this song on the Florida Panther by singer/songwriter Bobby Angel: ua-cam.com/video/Tqi6EwEgqcM/v-deo.html.
you didn't mention the Florida bear at 2:21 lol js kidding
Mating pair??
I Know that bridge well, I use to live not far from there... That crosses over the K-28 interceptor canal
Just when you thought 2 was enough here’s 4 at one time ua-cam.com/video/sp9QLe_PXU4/v-deo.html
